Arrowhead Juvenile Detention Center

Licensed by the State of Minnesota Department of Human Services, Rule 31, the Arrowhead Center, Inc, provides chemical dependency programming to make and female adolescents who are involved in the criminal justice system and placed at the Arrowhead Juvenile Center (AJC).  The treatment models utilized are the Matrix Model for Teens and Young Adults with an intensive curriculum focusing on Addictive and Criminal Thinking, Relapse Prevention, and successful community reintegration and transitional resources.


Residents of the AJC program receive up to 120 hours of programming conducted by Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselors (LADC).   After release, graduates of the program receive up to 44 hours of intensive aftercare programming either in their host county or at the Arrowhead Center, Inc in Virginia, MN.
