Adolescent Outpatient Chemical Dependency Program
The Adolescent Outpatient Chemical Dependency Program is designed specifically for individuals age 13-18, and provides services that are tailored to the specific needs of adolescents; assisting them in building a life free of chemical use while being culturally sensitive to each individual. The program consists of two phases:
Phase I: Three afternoons per week for three hours, 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm for 8 weeks
Phase II: One afternoon per week for three hours, 4:00pm – 7:00 pm for 8 weeks
During these sessions, a counselor addresses the following issues:

Chemical Use

Mental Health

Relationship Health
-
Living Skills—such as ironing, sewing, etc.

Employment

Legal Issues

Community Resource Connections

Assisting in building a sober support network

Participation in sober social events and giving back to the community

Co-occurring Chemical dependency and behavioral health treatment

Group programming specific to adolescents

Family group programming

Mental health diagnostic assessments

Community speakers and educators

Individual and family behavioral health services

Referrals to medication prescribers on site

In-home family therapy
The Arrowhead Center, Inc.’s adolescent program is licensed by the state of Minnesota Department of Human Services, Rule 31.
